Party planning is not only half the battle of a good party, but.....it's half the fun!!  You can never start too early to plan a party.  You should have at least one good party theme a year.  Give them something to talk about!  Keep them asking for more!  Be the "Hostess with the mostess"!!!

PARTY THEME'S

This is what separates the class acts from the flops.  The theme.  Now is the time to break out of the traditional mold and create an artistic celebration.  No matter what type of party you are having or for what reason, with a little planning ahead, it can be spectacular.

DECORATIONS:

You can't have enough is my motto.  Make sure your party area is obvious and your theme jump out and pop with props, decor, lighting, etc.  Whether it is elegant or not, you can never go overboard at showing your guests how pleased you are that they joined you in your celebration.

TIPS TO PONDER:

Make a list, check it twice, and make it again.  Write down everything you can think of when planning your party.  Then slowly weed out the been done, lame, boring ideas.  And enhance the new, fresh, fun ideas.  Now you have your base project line.

With plenty of time, a good attitude, a vivid imagination, the right decor...........you can make chips and dip fabulous!  And you can do it cheaply also.  Halloween is over but the decorations are still in the stores and all are 50-75% off.  What are you waiting for...............go get them now for next year!!!  I use a Rubbermaid Tote for party decorations.........(OK, so I have 5 now, but I'm prepared..........LOL).  You never know when things get a little boring, (say about half way through winter), that you may want to have a Hawiian Luau!  Such fun!
