We all have something in common, this circle of friends here. It is an addiction. Please, let me first tell you this is NOT a support group to stop our addiction. We do not want to stop it. We like it. It gives us pleasure, relaxation, fun, friends, and a chance for wealth. So, even if we could stop, we won't. Why would we? It's harmless, unless of course you do plan on eating at a certain time every day. Oh, and the cob webs.......well, the dust bunnies have to sleep someplace don't they?
We all met in the same room. Aged to perfection. Yes we are! Well, aged maybe....perfection??? Our shared addiction was to the game Poppit at pogo.com. We had many a fun night laughing till we hurt.
But alas, soon something terrible happened. The jackpot became so high that all the village idiots took the room over. It was terrible. And then when someone finally won the elusive pot...............they didn't leave!!!
OMG! There was bantering, bickering, whinning, foreplay, and full blown stupidity. We couldn't get a word in. So we tried a few other rooms. It just wasn't the same. We drifted apart for a while, only meeting up now and then.
One of the girls remarked about someone looking for a new chat room. Well, I put the net to the test and went on a mission. I found Bravenet and viola.........here we are.
So now you know the story behind the name popitpals.com and logo. Mildly interesting, don't you think?
